Katie Rex

To New York City’s dance floors, the name Katie Rex, is a familiar mainstay. With roots beginning in the Philadelphia rave scene, her passion for the underground has crossed genre boundaries and culminated into an in-depth knowledge of music and cultural trends after dark. Rex’s sets fuse industrial sonic landscapes with ceiling busting rave anthems and the harsher sides of techno. She's shared the bill with top artists across genres, staying true to her passion for progressive sounds. 

Rex’s infamous event series turned multifaceted lifestyle platform, BOUND, has received international acclaim with features from VOGUE, The New York Times, Vice, Resident Advisor, and many more. Marrying the celebration sex work and need for safer spaces for marginilized bodies headonistic enjoyment, BOUND has reached an audience that transcends any one location. They’ve hosted events outside of Brooklyn in Miami, Los Angeles, & Detroit. In February 2018 Rex released with first ever global fetishwear guide through BOUND. In December 2019 BOUND announced itself as a record label, specializing in special projects. The first release (following an inaugural compilation in January 2019) is a remix package for FEE LION with tracks from Silent Servant, Minimal Violence, Kontravoid, & Multiple Man.

Moving forward, Rex will follow up on her production projects with a debut EP coming in the Spring of 2020.
