Growing up on the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music at an early age. Exploring the city with a penchant for graffiti and urban culture, he took his first steps as a DJ and producer in 2011. Studying audio engineering and then working as a mix & recording engineer gave him a range of technical skills that improved the sound of his own productions. Influenced by early Detroit techno and Berlin dub techno, drum'n'bass and IDM, the Berghain resident knows how to overcome expectations as a producer, DJ and live act.

Playing clubs all over the world over the past few years, he keeps pushing himself as a DJ with informed choice and technical finesse, and as a live act with ever-changing hardware-only setups. His productions and sets are characterized by a constant search for groove, flow, reduction and repetition and follow the urge to devote himself completely to the music. Thanks to a fast workflow as a producer, he likes to play new, unreleased tracks in his DJ sets, bridging the gap between the studio and the dance floor. Coupled with fast and razor-sharp multi-deck mixing, he continues to develop his DJ sets with forward thrust and pursues the goal of a unity-creating experience on the floor. His hardware-only live sets are a unique listening experience in their own right, consisting of tracks, being made on the spot.

Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem realizes his own sound ideals and remains true to his musical vision. As an employee of the Berlin vinyl institution Hard Wax, Fadi Mohem deepens his musical knowledge and his versatility as a record collector and DJ.

With releases on labels such as Klockworks, Seil disc pillar, and WERK, he laid the foundation for his work and his reputation as a producer. With plans for his next solo productions in 2022, Fadi Mohem has further paved the way for his musical vision.
